Tuesday 4th May - Launch The official launch of the Reducing Maternal and Child Mortality Road trip will occur at the Rotary Club of Erina, with a presentation of the Millennium Development Goals. Wednesday 5th May - International Midwives Day Meeting to be held at the Rotary Club of Adamstown/New Lambton. Friday 7th May - Port Macquarie Margaret Aggar will be attending an inner Wheel afternoon tea, to speak about the MDG's and the Midwives East Timor Australia project. |

Sunday 9th May - Gosford to Nambucca The the roadtrip crew will be travelling from Gosford to Nambucca for the first leg of the 4 244km trip to Darwin, in order to promote the Millennium Development Goals. Monday 10th May - Nambucca to Coffs Harbour Heading 50 km to Coffs Harbour, the road trip crew will be stopping in at the Rotary Club of Sawtell. Tuesday 11th May - Coffs Harbour to Chinchilla The Roadtrip drivers will travel the 658 km to Chinchilla while Margaret, will fly on to Emerald to meet with the combined Rotary Clubs from the local area, and present on the MDG's and how everyone can help. Wednesday 12th May - Chinchilla to Emerald 589 km out of Chinchilla the road show will be heading to Emerald, and will meet up with Margaret, to continue the journey North. Thursday 13th May - Emerald to Longreach The stop into Longreach, 400 km down the road will prove another opportunity talk with the local Rotary Club about the Millennium Development Goals. Friday 14th May - Longreach to Mt Isa Rotary Club Meeting still to be confirmed. Saturday 15th May - Mt Isa to Tennant Creek The Rotary Club of Tennant Creek will have an oppertunity to get up to date with the progress of the MDG's at their local meeting, when the Road Trip crew drop in for a chat. Sunday 16th May - Tennant Creek to Katherine Nearing the end of the journey, the Road trip crew will have an oppertunity to participate in the Community Family Fun Day, and to speak with the local club about how they can help the MDG targets come to be. Monday 17th May - Katherine to Darwin The Road Trip crew hang up their coats and Fly on home to Gosford, after meeting with over 9 Rotary Clubs along the way, and bring awareness of the Millennium Development Goals to the public. |
